Three time Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Champion Rodolfo Vieira will be sidelined for the foreseeable future. Due to this injury he will not be competing in the ADCC in China on October 19th and 20th or in his super fight with Kron Gracie at the World Jiu Jitsu Expo.

Vieira took to his personal Facebook page to announce his withdrawal.

“It is with great sadness that I report to my friends and to those who follow my work that I’m out of the ADCC and the World Jiu-Jitsu Expo because of a knee injury, which occurred last week. I was trying to heal it, but unfortunately it is not 100%. I still feel it loose when I step on the ground, “ posted Vieira.
